Mother’s Day luncheon at Royale Chulan Seremban was nothing short of wonderful — a beautiful afternoon filled with food, laughter, bonding, and precious memories with Mum
We arrived around 12 noon, and the hotel was already buzzing with excitement. Guests were elegantly seated while many more families continued arriving to celebrate the special occasion. The atmosphere was warm and lively, filled with smiles, conversations, and the joy of togetherness. From the very beginning, the hospitality stood out. Ms Stephanie greeted us so warmly and personally escorted us to our little cozy corner, which instantly made us feel welcomed and comfortable.
The ambiance of the Asiatique restaurant was soothing yet vibrant — soft lighting, elegant décor, cheerful families, and a beautiful Mother’s Day setup that created the perfect mood for the luncheon. Everywhere you looked, there were mothers posing for photos, families laughing together, and children pampering their mums with love and attention. It truly captured the spirit of Mother’s Day.
Then came the highlight — the food spread. The dessert section was absolutely eye-catching with its colorful cakes, pastries, sweet treats, and delicate desserts beautifully displayed. It felt like stepping into a sweet wonderland. Every table around us couldn’t resist stopping for desserts more than once!
The savory dishes were equally impressive. The ayam masak merah was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The mutton was tender and aromatic, while the chicken lasagna was creamy and comforting. One unique favorite was definitely the pizza ayam rendang — such a creative local twist with delicious flavors. But my absolute favorite had to be the nestum prawns — crispy, fragrant, buttery, and simply addictive. They also served dim sum, which added a lovely variety to the international buffet spread.
Being a fitness instructor, I naturally gravitated towards my favorite section — the salad bar. There were so many fresh options, colorful vegetables, toppings, and healthy choices that made me genuinely happy. It balanced the indulgence perfectly! Still, since it was Mother’s Day, Mum and I decided to fully enjoy ourselves and treated ourselves to pasta and spaghetti as well. Every dish we tried reflected the effort and passion from the culinary team, so compliments to the chef for such an enjoyable dining experience.
As we were feasting and enjoying every bite, the program became more lively and interactive. The emcee kept the crowd entertained with games, quizzes, and fun family activities. One of the most exciting moments was the cake decoration activity, where participants showcased their creativity while families cheered them on. There were also fun “secret shhhh” question-and-answer sessions that brought so much laughter to the room. The energy throughout the luncheon remained cheerful, engaging, and heartwarming.
What made the day truly special was not just the food or entertainment, but the opportunity to slow down, spend quality time, and bond with my mum. In the middle of our busy lives, moments like these become priceless. Sharing laughter over desserts, enjoying delicious food together, and simply being present created memories that will stay close to my heart for a lifetime.
