What is MAPPAC?.

MAPPAC (PPM-001-10-18062018) is a registered non-profit non-governmental organization set up on 18 June 2018. MAPPAC aims to provide a platform for healthcare providers, volunteers and caregivers to contribute towards the development of paediatric palliative care in Malaysia.

What is paediatric palliative care (PPC)?

Paediatric palliative care is also known as palliative care for children. The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines palliative care for children as the active total care of the child’s body, mind and spirit, including support for the family, when a child has a life-limiting illness. A life-limiting illness is an illness for which there is no cure, and will result in a shortened life for the child.

We invite you to shake, groove, and make a difference at our upcoming Zumba & GoBhangra Bollywood fundraiser supporting MAPPAC Hospice care for children. This vibrant event aims to raise awareness and funds for The Malaysian Association of Paediatric Palliative care, providing essential care and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

• Informative Booths: Learn more about the services and how you can get involved.

• Register: Sign up for the event, call 0196505370 to book your slot. A donation of RM20 is suggested, but any contribution is welcome!

Donation to MAPPAC

MAPPAC activities and projects are supported by donations from well-wishers. Your giving helps us to run activities that help to increase awareness about children’s palliative care and provide services for families of children with life-limiting illnesses. Your financial support will also contribute towards setting up the Malaysian Children’s Hospice and its operational costs.
